"DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO TRY ON WEDDING DRESSES?"
Yes, we are by appointment only! We want every bride to have an absolutely amazing bridal shopping experience and having an appointment means that you have your own bridal room reserved for just you and your guests, and that you will have your own personal Bridal Stylist there to help you every step of the way!
Your Bridal Stylist will be able help you find the perfect dress for you based off of what design details you are loving, the budget you are wanting to stick with, and the feedback you give her about what makes you feel GORGEOUS!! If a sample dress is too small or too big for your frame, she is there to help clip the gown so you can see what it would look like on your body. And she's there to make sure you are having fun and feeling great!!

"WHO SHOULD I BRING WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT?
We recommend bringing the most important people to you - finding a wedding dress is a huge life moment, and you never know when you are going to find THE ONE! Make sure those special loved ones are there to experience the magic with you!
In order to provide a comfortable shopping experience for our brides and their guests, we can allow 4 guests per bride to our standard bridal appointments on Saturdays and Sundays, but we would be happy to FaceTime or Zoom video call in anyone you want to virtually include in your experience! Because we take less appointments during the week, we can allow up to 6 guests to our standard appointments on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
To bring more guests to a weekend appointment and to enjoy an upgraded shopping experience, we have a limited number of larger VIP Appointments rooms that can comfortably fit up to 6 guests, and after hours Premier Appointments for up to 9 guests! "WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?"
We are located at 211 Clover Lane in the St. Matthews Neighborhood in the heart of Louisville, Kentucky! We are the front store in The Colony Shopping Center, which can be found behind Trinity High School, near the Target on Westport Road. Get directions here
"WHAT IS THE PRICE RANGE OF YOUR DRESSES?"
Our gowns range from about $1,000 - $4,000, with the majority of our dresses being between $1,200 - $2,400. We also have a limited number of amazing Sample dresses available for purchase "off of the floor" at a discount for under $1000! Please email us if you have questions about what types of gowns & which sizes we currently have available for purchase off of the floor.
"WHAT SIZES DO YOU CARRY? DO YOU HAVE PLUS SIZE GOWNS?"
Our samples range from sizes 6 - 34, with over 70 plus-size sample wedding dresses in the store. For samples that are too small or too large, our trained Stylists can help you get a great idea of how even more fabulous a dress will look on your frame once it is ordered or altered to your size.
"WHEN SHOULD I ORDER MY DRESS?"
We recommend ordering your bridal dress at least 9 months before your wedding if possible! Wedding dresses can typically take 4 - 6 months to arrive from the designer, and we suggest allowing around 2 months for alterations. But its never too early to say yes to the dress! If your wedding date is closer, most designers offer rush delivery and we also have sample gowns available for immediate purchase "off of the floor"!
"WHAT SHOULD I WEAR/BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?"
UNDERWEAR: We ask that you wear full coverage underwear bottoms (no thongs please!) and it's best if you wear a color that is close to your skin tone
BRA: Most of our gowns have built-in structure and cups, so most brides end up taking their bras off. But if you are more comfortable wearing one, we recommend a nude strapless bra
SHAPEWEAR: If you are planning on (or open to) wearing shapewear like Spanx on your your wedding day, you are welcome to bring those!
SHOES: Most brides try on with their shoes off, but if you already have the shoes you want to wear on your wedding day, or if you have a shoe that has the same heel height that you want to wear, please bring those as it helps us with measurements if you decide to purchase a gown with a custom hem length
"DO YOU HAVE BRIDAL ACCESSORIES?"
Yes we sure do! We have a gorgeous selection of veils of all lengths, cuts, and finishes to pair perfectly with whichever dress you choose! We also carry hair accessories like combs, wraps, pins, and headbands. Looking for a belt, cape, or overskirt to add to your gown? We have those too! And you do not have to be a Rebecca's Bride to shop from our accessories collection! We are happy to help you complete your bridal ensemble, no matter where you bought your dress!
"DO YOU HAVE BRIDESMAIDS/MOTHERS/FLOWERGIRL/PROM DRESSES?"
We no longer carry bridesmaids dresses, mother's gowns, flower girl dresses, or prom/homecoming dresses. We made the decision to focus solely on wedding dresses and bridal accessories so we can have the most space possible for brides and their guests, as well as to have more room to expand our inventory of designer bridal gowns.
"DO YOU DO ALTERATIONS IN HOUSE?"
We do not have an alterations department within our boutique. However, we have a list of excellent recommended seamstresses in and around the Louisville area that we provide to our Rebecca's Brides when they order their gowns with us!
"WHERE CAN I GET MY DRESS CLEANED and/or PRESERVED AFTER MY WEDDING?"
We are proud to partner with Wedding Gown Preservation Co. to offer cleaning and heirlooming/preservation! You can bring your gown to us after your wedding, and we will safely send it off to have it professionally cleaned and then preserved in a sealed box that keeps your dress in amazing condition for up to 100 years! Perfect for passing on to a future generation! There is a clear cover on the box that allows you to view the bust of your beautiful dress.
