Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to schedule an appointment to try on wedding dresses?

Appointments are necessary to shop at Rebecca's for bridal gowns because we want every customer to have an absolutely amazing shopping experience! Having an appointment ensures that you have a designated dressing room and an expert Bridal Stylist dedicated to help you every step of the way. You do not need an appointment to try on bridesmaids dresses.

How long is my appointment?

Appointments typically last about an hour and half

Where are you located?

We are located at 211 Clover Lane in the St. Matthews Neighborhood in the heart of Louisville, Kentucky! We are the front store in The Colony Shopping Center, which can be found behind Trinity High School, near the Target on Westport Road. Get directions here

Do your bridal consultants work on commission?

Rebecca's Stylists work as a team, not on commission, so there is never any pressure to make a purchase if you aren't ready to say "yes" because you are totally in love with your dress! Our goal is to help every bride feel beautiful, happy, and SO excited to get married!

Who should I bring with me to the appointment?

Our dressing rooms are reserved for the bride and 4-6 of her closest family and friends. We are a small boutique and space is limited, and we have found that larger groups can make for an overwhelming experience for the bride and the other brides shopping with us. We also ask that you please not bring children so we can maintain a relaxed shopping atmosphere for you and other brides.

How much do your wedding dresses cost?

Whatever your budget, we are here to help find your dream wedding dress! Our gowns range from $900 - $3,000, with the majority of our dresses being between $1,200 - $2,000. We also have dresses available for purchase out of our collection of inventory gowns at a discount.

What sample size gowns do you carry? Do you have Plus-Size wedding dresses?

Our samples range from sizes 0 - 32, with over 60 plus-size sample wedding dresses in the store. For samples that are too small or too large, our trained stylists can help you get a great ideal of how even more fabulous a dress will look on your frame once it is ordered or altered to your size.

When should I order?

We recommend ordering your bridal dress at least 9 months before your wedding if possible! Wedding dresses can typically take 4 - 6 months to arrive from the designer, and we suggest allowing around 2 months for alterations. We recommend ordering bridesmaids dresses at least 6 months before the wedding. If your wedding date is closer, most designers offer rush delivery!

Do you offer alterations?

We do not have an alterations department within our boutique. However, we have a list of excellent recommended seamstresses in and around the Louisville area that we provide to our Rebecca's Bride family!

Where can I get my gown pressed?

Wedding gown pressing is included in the purchase of your dress! Simply return the gown to Rebecca's after alterations are completed, and we will have it perfect for your walk down the aisle. Please keep in mind that you will need to bring your dress in at least one week prior to the wedding to ensure enough time to press your gown!
