Our beautiful #RebeccasBride Chaney and her groom Walter tied the knot on August 12th. When we asked Chaney how she knew Walter was her future husband, she told us: "I knew my husband was the one when we stuck together through our lowest times. He reminds me so much of my father and grandfather. We literally grew with one another from start to finish."
Speaking of her father, we actually met Chaney years ago- her father was our UPS Delivery Driver and she would sometimes join him on his routes. We were so glad she came back to shop with us, because she has always been as a Rebecca's Bride!
Chaney purchased her Essense of Australia Fit and Flare dress at Rebecca's. This gown has a clear beaded bodice and with a gorgeous tulle skirt. She also purchased her Erica Koesler veil from Rebecca's. This stunning veil was a fluttercut cathedral with a 3 strand pearl edge.
We asked Chaney a few questions about her experience:
How did you know that you had found the perfect dress for you?
When trying on dresses with the help of (bridal consultant) L.T. Literally every dress looked good on me. But something about the dress I chose, my face was lit up ear to ear and my mother started crying.
Why did you decide to shop at Rebecca's?
Rebecca's is the best in the city in my opinion. My father used to delivery there on his old UPS routes in my younger years. He would bring us by sometimes and who would've thought I would be back for my wedding day.
What was the favorite part of your wedding shopping experience?
The variety of gowns, and letting my family see me try them on.
What was your favorite part of your wedding?
My favorite part had to be when my husband took off the garter. He totally embarrassed me.
What advice do you have for soon-to-be brides?
Start the planning early, save as much as you allow, and remember it's just about you and him. Nothing more, nothing less.
